Guardiola leaves the door open for Mbappé and Alexis Sánchez
The Manchester City did not want to go into details out of respect for Monaco and Arsenal

Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager, did not avoid questions on Kylian Mbappé and Alexis Sánchez during the build-up to his team’s game against Real Madrid, a club who are also chasing Mbappé.
Guardiola said “they are two exceptional forwards, so we’ll see” before adding that “unfortunately, the window doesn’t close until 31 August, which isn’t good for manager. We’ll see what happens”. In recent days, Pep has ruled out the possibility of Sergio Agüero leaving.
When asked specifically, Pep didn’t want to go into details, “they are still at Monaco and Arsenal, so there’s nothing to say”.
City have already spent around €107.5 million on players from Monaco this summer in Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy, and €240 million in total, but they seem willing to spend even more.
