Courtois' arrival means he is now the fourth-choice goalkeeper at the club

Luca Zidane has become a problem for Real Madrid. The son of the club's former coach, Zinedine Zidane, was in the first team's 2018-19 photograph earlier this week but the reality is very different. He appears in the official snap, but he's wearing No.30, which corresponds with a youth team player.

Zidane is currently the starting goalkeeper for Castilla, the club's B team, and the fourth choice for the first team. His spot with the reseves is not up for debate, given the backup is Belman, a 19-year-old. For now, he has no competition in that sense, although his future is not clear. Remember that last season, with his father on the bench, he was the third goalkeeper and he regularly formed part of the first team squad.

The arrival of Courtois has completely changed things. He's been sent down to Castilla permanently, with Kiko Casilla the third choice stopper behind Courtois and Keylor Navas.

Zidane is 20 and has become a block for the club's other youth players, given he's in the way of the other young keepers coming through La Fabrica. He's had offers, but he's not left. Now, Luca, who joined Madrid as a kid in 2004, is out of contract in the summer and could leave for free, given it's unlikely he will be offered a new deal by Los Blancos.
