Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham want him, but not at any price

Real Madrid paid 100 million euros in 2013 for Gareth Bale from Tottenham.

The Welshman was supposed to take the reins from Cristiano Ronaldo, but five season later his protagonism has been reduced to almost nothing.

Bale is a problem for Real Madrid, and they want him to leave this summer. However he has lost his status as a 'top' level footballer, which he arrived with at the Bernabeu.

Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham are interested in him, but not at any price. Jose Mourinho would like to fit him in at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile Real Madrid are interested in Harry Kane and Eden Hazard, and both Spurs and Chelsea would be open to a cash plus Bale swap deal.

Juventus are also a potential option and Bayern, but not as likely. Madrid want to recoup the 100m they paid and have put a 120m euro price tag on his head. An aspiration that seems very, very unlikely.
