Gareth Bale injured again: Madrid star has hamstring problem
The Welsh forward will miss the club's next games as his bad luck returns
Gareth Bale is out again. The Welsh forward had tests on his hamstring on Monday and is injured, although Real Madrid did not publish a statement. The length of the injury is not known, but some reports say it’s mid to long term and he could be out for a while.
For now he’ll be out of the Champions League opener against Inter Milan on Wednesday, and the weekend clash with Valencia.
Madrid have three further games in September, Mallorca, Villarreal and Sheriff.
Bale was injured on Saturday in training ahead of the 5-2 win over Celta Vigo and did not take part. He had scored a hat-trick for Wales in the international break.
