Gareth Bale asks for 51 million euros to leave Real Madrid
The Welshman wants the rest of his fat contract before he leaves the Bernabeu
Gareth Bale will not make things easy for Real Madrid. Los Blancos want him to leave but the Welshman is not planning on going anywhere until he gets what is owed him.
Per El Confidencial Bale has asked for the 51 million euros left on his three year contract. He will only be open to negotiating down this figure if he receives an offer of equal or more than the 17m a year he's currently on.
The problem for Madrid is that nobody wanys to pay the 29 year old that much. Bale's market value has decreased to 70m. Madrid paid 100 to Tottenham for him in 2013. He became a world record signing but now is the 40th most valuable player on the planet per Transfermarkt.
The Bale case is a hot potato for Florentino Perez.
