Gareth Bale and Luka Modric, doubts to face Real Mallorca
The Welshman and the Croat faced each other in the Euro 2020 quals
Gareth Bale and Luka Modric were absent from Real Madrid's training session on Tuesday at Valdebebas, after facing each other as Wales hosted Croatia in Euro 2020 qualifying and both picked up knocks.
Bale will continue taking tests on Wednesday to determine exactly what happened to him. Real Madrid published a medical statement about Modric, saying "he has been diagnosed with a contusion to his right quadriceps."
They seem unlikely to feature against Real Mallorca on Saturday, joining Toni Kroos, Nacho Fernandez and Marco Asensio on the sidelines.
