James and Kovacic are the main duo whom are set for the Santiago Bernabeu exit

Florentino Perez has promised Zinedine Zidane a big investment this summer to renovate his squad, but for that he needs to make bank with Operation Exit. Per El Confidential, the objective is to bring in 150 million euros.

To get to that number, Madrid count on various players like James Rodriguez and Mateo Kovacic being sold. In the case of the Colombian, Bayern have a 42m euro option to buy the man they have on loan.

James is not having his best season there and Madrid do not want him. If in the end Bayern don't keep him then the objective from Madrid's point of view would be to sell him for 60m euros.

Kovacic, for his part, is on loan at Chelsea, where he's playing a lot 2,313 minutes this season. Madrid and Chelsea agreed the loan without an option to buy.

Between the two, they are hoping to raise 100m. But the sales don't stop there. On loan, Theo Hernández (Real Sociedad), Achraf Hakimi (Borussia Dortmund), Martin Odegaard (Vitesse) and Lucas Silva (Cruzeiro), may also be shipped out if Zidane doesn't want them.
