Florentino Perez is looking for a new coach again... this is his list
Allegri, Mourinho, Pochettino, Klopp and Conte are options to replace Solari
The Real Madrid job is a coveted and complicated one in equal measures. Santiago Solari is not convincing and president Florentino Perez will have to take decisions.
Solari's contract until 2021 seemed like they were hoping he would become the new Zidane. However bad results are bringing forward the coach's sell-by date.
Florentino Perez is looking over his list of possible replacements....
Massimiliano Allegri
"The current Juventus coach is the preferred option to coach Madrid next season," claimed Eduardo Inda on El Chiringuito. Howeve the coach doesn't seem willing to leave Juventus until he has won the Champions League with them.
Mauricio Pochettino
Tottenham's coach has never hidden his preference for Real Madrid but Daniel Levy, Spurs' chairman, is the big stopping point. They will not let him go without a huge fee.
José Mourinho
Five years ago Mourinho left the Bernabeu but his name has been mentioned a lot since he left Manchester United. Perez is a big fan. The squad might need Jose's discipline, but they won't like it - Sergio Ramos, for one, got on badly with the coach in his previous era.
Antonio Conte
Free to take a new job after being sacked by Chelsea but says he prefers to "wait until June" for that. His character and firm management would put special emphasis on the squad heavyweights' fitness.
Jürgen Klopp
Jurgen Klopp is one of the world's in-fashion coaches. He is challenging Pep Guardiola for the Premier League title and at Liverpool he is playing his own brand of football. If he leads Liverpool to league or Champions League glory he might be willing to switch to Madrid afterwards.
