Emilio Butragueno's reaction to a question about Solari's future
The Real Madrid director of institutional relations did not want to talk about the fate of the coach
Emilio Butragueño, the Real Madrid director of institutional relations, did not want to confirm if coach Santiago Solari would be staying in charge of Real Madrid after the 4-1 win over Real Valladolid.
Speaking on Movistar, the Madrid chief said "we are only here to talk about the game" when asked about Solari's future, despite further efforts from the journalist to get a more concrete response.
"Solari is a stupendous professional, but we're here to talk about the game," added Butragueno.
He admitted Madrid had "a difficult week" after Copa del Rey and UCL KO, and a league loss against Barca. "But the result (against Valladolid) is estupendous," he underlined.
