The Belgian winger has struggled with form and fitness this season

Real Madrid's 100 million euro marquee summer signing Eden Hazard has had a terrible time.

The Belgian forward was injured before the season started, took a long time to get to his best level and as soon as it seemed he had, got injured again.

"My first season at Madrid is bad, but not everything is bad," Eden Hazard told RTBF.

"It is an adaptation season. I will be judged in the second. It is up to me to be in good shape next year. The group is good, I have met new people. For me it is a great experience. I still have four years of contract, I hope be in good shape."

Hazard may be helped by the coronavirus lay-off, as he tries to heal his foot injury.
