Eden Hazard is not renewing because he wants Real Madrid move
The father of the player says his son would like to move to the Santiago Bernabeu
Belgian international Eden Hazard rejected a contract renewal at Chelsea to leave the door open for a move to Real Madrid, according to the player's father in Le Soir.
"Eden rejected an offer of a contract extension to be able to, if it happens, respond to the interest of Real Madrid, where he'd fit in well," said Thierry Hazard.
However he also says Hazard has agreed nothing with Zinedine Zidane's side.
"There is no contract, Eden is just one of the parts," said Thierry. The player for his part has spoken of his "admiration" for Madrid - as well as Paris Saint-Germain.
Hazard, 26, has become one of the world's best players while with Chelsea.
