The coach sent a message to the Real Madrid man on Saturday

Former Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has sent a message to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. Del Bosque pointed out to the Portugal forward, who wants an improved deal at the Bernabeu, that footballers should be an example to kids.

Speaking at the Festival Naturhouse Inclusive Football Sevilla, Del Bosque didn't want to go too deeply into Ronaldo's comments after the Champions League final last month, when he suggested he would leave Madrid.

"I have my opinion but I will keep it for myself," he said. "These players are examples for the children, just as they try to imitate how they head the ball, they also look at their behaviour."

Later, Del Bosque limited himself to saying that "I don't have an opinion on whether he should remain at Real Madrid or not."

He didn't want to speak about the possibility of Guti taking over as Madrid's new coach, either, while he denied that he was offered a job in Pedro Sanchez's new Spanish government.
