Dani Carvajal's Spain replacement must come from the list of 35

The player is in danger of missing the World Cup after his UCL final injury

Julen Lopetegui selected his 23 man Spain squad for the World Cup on Monday. However Dani Carvajal's Champions League final injury might stop him participating in the tournament.

We're yet to find out the seriousness of the injury, but in theory he is supposed to link up with Spain on June 4. If he cannot go to the tournament, he must be replaced with a player on the list of 35 that Lopetegui sent to FIFA on May 15.

Sergi Roberto of Barcelona, Marc Bartra of Real Betis and Marcos Alonso of Chelsea are three of the options, although Lopetegui might go for an attacking player like Alvaro Morata or Jesus Navas.

Carvajal's injury appears to be a hamstring injury and early rumours are he will be out for a month which means he must be replaced.
