Dani Carvajal: Isco is a brave player
The defender praised his team-mate who is having a tough season at Madrid
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal said that the team "didn't have a good game" in the 3-0 defeat by CSKA Moscow, and defended his team-mate Isco Alarcon, who was whistled by fans.
"I didn't see if he faced off with the fans or not, but the one thing I can say about Isco is that I've known him for many years and he's a brave player, when things aren't going well he asks for the ball, and he doesn't disappear, and you have to value that too," he told Movistar.
"This was a meaningless game if you want to see it like that, (but) it's a official game. It wasn't a good game. We are pissed off for the home defeat but we finished first of the group as was our objective.
"The first half we had a lot of chances but we had defensive errors and CSKA's finishing did for us."
