The Portugal star spoke to France Football about his summer move to Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken about his Real Madrid departure in an interview with France Football and was very critical of president Florentino Perez.

Ronaldo left Madrid for Juventus for 100 million euros in the summer after nine years at the club.

"Perez only ever looked at me as part of a business relationship," Ronaldo said. "What he said to me was never from the heart."

Ronaldo said he had good memories with the Madrid fans but that he can't say the same about Perez and his board.

He added: "I felt inside the club, especially from the president, that they no longer considered me the same way that they did in the start. The president looked at me as if I was no longer indispensable to them."

That was when he decided to "reflect on leaving" and he chose Juve so that he could remain at a competitive level: "If it was for money I would have gone to China."

The Portugal star also spoke about the upcoming Ballon d'Or: "It's not an onsession, given I am already one of the best in history, but I think I deserve it."
