The footballer will once again be the cover star for FIFA 19
With all the rumours surrounding Cristiano's future at Real Madrid, it appears there's another one to add to the pile. EA Sports have revealed that Cristiano will be the cover star for their latest instalment of the FIFA franchise, FIFA 19. The game, which will be released after the new season has started, will display Cristiano Ronaldo wearing Real Madrid's new kit.
The information goes against what the club is saying at the moment in regards to the Portuguese striker's future. Real Madrid didn't feature Cristiano in their final presentation of the new kits and that's why he doesn't appear in the photo gallery or promotional video.
This is the second consecutive season in which Cristiano has been the cover star. He was also the face of the 'World Cup Russia 2018' edition but in that he obviously wore Portugal's kit. The player is reportedly upset with Real Madrid's president, Florentino Perez, as he feels that he's being pushed out of the door because they won't improve his contract.
