Cristiano Ronaldo misses Real Madrid training ahead of Celta clash

Real Madrid are worrying about the fitness of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. The forward is a doubt for this week's Copa del Rey game against Celta Vigo after missing training on Monday.

Ronaldo, who complained of pain during the game against Malaga, joined several other injured teammates in not training at the Ciudad Deportiva. He remained in the dressing room James Rodriguez, who it was hoped would be back in training this week, and Danilo.

It was anticipated that Ronaldo would undergo tests on Monday morning, but that was not the case.

Gareth Bale, Pepe and Dani Carvajal continue with their respective recovery work and have now been joined by the recently injured Marcelo and Luka Modric.

Zidane, with so many players injured, called up Tejero and Enzo to join in with first team training ahead of Wednesday's game in Vigo.

Madrid travel to Galicia having lost the first leg 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu and needing a comeback.
