Ronaldo's former United teammate interviewed him for Nike

The Portugal man suggested he'll be a boxer when he retires

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo joked in an interview with Rio Ferdinand, who he played alongside at Manchester United, that in the future he may become a boxer.

In a fun interview organised by Nike, Ronaldo laughed about Ferdinand's decision to move into boxing and suggested he may do the same in 10 years time.

Asked by Ferdinand what he will do when he retires, Ronaldo said: "in 10 years? No, in 10 years it will be tough. Maybe I will be a boxer like you!"

Ronaldo recognised that "during my time with United I learned to be better and better, being around the best players in the world. I will never forget the Red Devils."

The Portugal forward also said that he only wanted to go to Real Madrid "to go there to show my level, to show that I'm a different player and that's what I did."
