Cristiano: "I'd sign up now to meet Real Madrid in Champions League final"
As one of the group winners, Juventus could be drawn against Real Madrid in Monday's Last 16 draw
In the 'Last 16' draw of the Champions League, Juventus could come up against Real Madrid. This would also mean Cristiano Ronaldo facing off against the team which sold him last summer.
"Real Madrid are an extraordinary team but I'd prefer to face them later on. I'd sign up now to face them in the final," Cristiano confessed at the end of Juve's match against Bayer Leverkusen.
Cristiano has struggled to match his usual goalscoring form this season and only has 9 goals in 18 matches so far - with just two of those coming in the Champions League. Although the Portuguese forward believes this was mainly down to him suffering from discomfort. "I feel fine. The physical problems are now a thing of the past. I had a little problem with my knee for about four weeks but it's fine now. We're playing better and we're winning; gaining more confidence."
