Keylor Navas is set to start in the clash against Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid have not signed up new signing Thibaut Courtois to play in the UEFA Super Cup in Tallinn, Estonia, against Atletico Madrid, according to Cadena Cope.

Julen Lopetegui had called up five goalkeepers to travel and has taken the decision to leave out the Belgian, with Keylor Navas set to start. The reserve will be Kiko Casilla presumably, while Luca Zidane and Andriy Lunin will not be in the squad.

EARLY LEAD FOR NAVAS

So Lopetegui starts the season with Costa Rican stopper Navas who Zidane backed, despite Courtois joining from Chelsea after starring in the World Cup.

Madrid face Getafe on Sunday at the Bernabeu at 10.15pm as they kick off their league campaign.
