The Italian coach refused to negotiate with Real Madrid and is still looking for a €9m payoff from Chelsea

Antonio Conte, the current coach at Chelsea, has rejected any possible interest that Real Madrid might have in making him their new manager according to Italian sources. In London they are waiting for Conte to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after a disappointing campaign with The Blues as well as his continuous problems with some players.

However, this Friday the British newspaper 'The Sun' are reporting that the Italian won't replace Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid. According to Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, Real Madrid reached out to Conte but he refused to negotiate with them.

The former Juventus coach, who won the Premier League in his first season at Chelsea and the FA Cup last May, doesn't want to leave The Blues. Conte knows that if he walks away he won't be entitled to a €9m payoff, something which he would be should Chelsea relieve him of his duties.
