Celta Vigo's game against Real Madrid is suspended

There could be huge problems finding a date to play the future before the end of the season

The mayor of Vigo, Abel Ramon Caballero Alvarez announced on Cadena SER that Celta Vigo’s game against Real Madrid on Sunday night will be called off.

Galicia has been hit by storms and, after Deportivo vs Betis was cancelled on Friday because the Riazor’s stadium roof was damaged, and now the same thing has happened at Balaidos.

This means Real Madrid will have two ‘parked’ games which they have to play in the future after they missed one for the Club World Cup.

The game being suspended is actually bad for Madrid, because Celta were planning to rest several players ahead of their Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Alaves.
