Casemiro was booked against Getafe and will miss Sevilla game
The Brazilian midfielder was lucky not to get another booking earlier in the game too
Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro had a game of mixed emotions in the 2-0 win over Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu.
He scored the opening goal of the game but was also booked for protesting, and it was his 10th of the season, meaning he’ll miss the clash with Sevilla through suspension.
Casemiro was also lucky as he might have been booked earlier on the game for a bad tackle on the edge of his box.
He scored the opener after a great assist from Vinicius Junior with a peach of a cross.
Madrid secured the three points with a comfortable win when Lucas Vazquez added the second, to ensure they will maintain their lead at the top of La Liga, whatever Barcelona do on Sunday at Levante.
