Former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o had a short spell at the club after leaving Leganes in 1998, before he came to Barcelona and Camp Nou.
He used his Instagram account to congratulate his former side.
“Bravo @realmadrid, the club where it all started for me, on their impressive victory last night 👏🏿👏🏿 #ChampionsLeague,” he wrote.
