The Welshman is not in the squad for Sunday's match at Leganes

The Belgian Eden Hazard, as a precaution due to an ankle injury, the Colombian James Rodriguez and the Welshman Gareth Bale have all been left out of the Real Madrid squad for their final game of the season against Leganes on Sunday.

Zidane has decided not to call on either James or Bale for technical reasons, while Marcelo is also absent. Bale has asked Zidane not to include him in the squad for the match, removing himself, as he did during the title celebration on Thursday after the 2-1 win over Villarreal.

Hazard didn't complete training on Saturday and will not play against Leganes. The aim is to keep him fit for the Champions League game against Manchester City on Aug. 7. City won the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu 2-1.

The full squad is: Courtois, Areola, Diego Altube, Carvajal, Militao, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Mendy, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, Kroos, Modric, Isco, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vázquez, Brahim, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Jovic, Mariano and Benzema.
