Incidencias

Partido correspondiente a la jornada 34 de LaLiga Santander disputado en el estadio de San Mamés de Bilbao a puerta cerrada.

Sergio Ramos scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot after Dani Garcia was adjudged to have fouled Marcelo. The spot-kick was given after referee Gonzalez Gonzalez reviewed it on the pitchside monitor.

Moments later, Ramos stamped on Raul Garcia at the other end but this time the referee didn't even review the decision, drawing the ire of the Athletic players.

Madrid held on to maintain their 100 percent record since the restart and move seven ahead of Barça, who play away at Villarreal later on Sunday.

However, it's another win mired in controversy and once again by a one goal to nil. They beat Espanyol by that scoreline last weekend and Getafe, thanks to another VAR penalty, in the week.

Zinedine Zidane's side now have just four games left to see out the season and win their first title since 2017.
