Luka Modric stays at Real Madrid. Per AS, the Croatian has taken the decision to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu after being offered an improved contract.
After studying an offer from Inter Milan the player has decided to stay. He has always liked the idea of remaining but wanted a salary increase deserved after six excellent seasons at Real Madrid.
Modric currently is on the third level of the Madrid salary scale, on 6.5m euros a year. Bale and Ramos are top with 11m, and Kroos and Benzema are second with 8.5m.
