Appointing Conte could see Hazard opt against Madrid move

Real Madrid have to consider the relationship between the two if they move for Conte

The next few weeks will be key for Real Madrid's future. Julen Lopetegui's position as coach is up in the air and the Clasico on Sunday could be his last game in charge of the club. Many suggest the most likely replacement is the out of work Antonio Conte.

The Italian coach's career is enough to convince Madrid, although there's one thing which concerns them. Eden Hazard is one of the player Florentino Perez would most like to replace Cristiano Ronaldo -- but the arrival of Conte could make a move for the Chelsea man tough.

As revealed in the English press on Tuesday, the relationship between Hazard and Conte broke down last season, which was the second year they had worked together at Stamford Bridge. Conte left Chelsea at the end of the season having won the title in his first year.

Conte said in public that he wasn't bothered about the Belgian international's happiness, while Hazard complained about the position he was playing.

If Lopetegui is moved on and Conte comes in, Hazard may have doubts about moving to the Santiago Bernabeu -- something he's never hidden his desire to do.
