All the numbers in Brahim Diaz's Real Madrid deal, including huge buy-out clause
The player signed for 17 million euros and 7m more in variables
Real Madrid bet hard on Brahim Diaz. They believe he's a player with a big future. The 19-year-old has been handed a deal with a 750 million euro buy-out clause on a six and a half year deal - until 2025. He gets 3.5 million euros a year in salary.
Even though his contract was set to end in the summer with Manchester City, Madrid paid 17m for him plus 7m more in variables. A number between the 20m City wanted and the 10m Madrid hoped to pay.
The Telegraph say City have 15% of a future transfer sale, which becomes 41 per cent if they sell him to Manchester United, City's rivals.
The Malaga-born player has a higher release clause than Isco and Asensio - both of whom have buy-outs of 700m.
