With Kylian Mbappe on the bench -- the France star has been ill this week but tested negative for coronavirus on Tuesday -- it was up to Neymar to lead PSG.
The Brazilian accepted the challenge and opened the scoring in Paris to bring the scores level on aggregate. Juan Bernat added another before the break to give the French side the overall lead.
There were no more goals in the second half but there was plenty of needle, despite the fact the game was played without supporters due to coronavirus.
Emre Can was sent off for Dortmund late on and a brawl between both teams saw the referee dish out a number of yellow cards.
The game ended with PSG into the last eight and the Ligue 1 side celebrated by copying the Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland's celebration from the first leg.
