Pique's Andorra will play in Segunda B in the 2019/20 season
They will take Reus' place in the Spanish third tier
Gerard Pique's Andorra will be in the Segunda B for the 2019-20 season after taking the place vacated by Reus' relegation to the third division.
Andorra paid the 452,022 euros necessary to take the place in the third tier of Spanish football after Reus' financial problems led to a second relegation.
Various teams had requested the place and put up the payment, including Zamora and Intercity, while Lorca, Jaén and Alcobendas were also interested.
However, the RFEF confirmed on Monday that Andorra -- who had only just been promoted to the fourth tier -- will take the empty space.
