Watford 3-1 Man United: Mourinho's men beaten for third time in a week

The Red Devils have had eight days to forget as Watford piled on the misery at Vicarage Road

Manchester United were beaten for the third time in a week as they lost 3-1 to Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

Following the derby defeat to Manchester City and a loss against Feyenoord in the Europea League, United have now lost three games in eight days.

It's the firs time Mourinho has lost three matches consecutively since he was Porto manager in 2002.

On that occasion he saw his side beaten twice by Real Madrid, with a defeat to Beira Mar sanwiched in the middle.

Marcus Rashford scored in the second half to cancel out Etienne Capoue's opener and it looked like United would go on to win the game.

However, Watford responded and retook the lead through Juan Camilo Zuniga in the 84th minute.

The tree points were confirmed in stoppage time when Marouane Fellaini gave away a penalty, with Troy Deeney converting to complete eight days of misery for United.
