According to The Sun, youngster Thigo Almada could go to Pep Guardiola's side
Thiago Almada could emulate his idol Carlos Tevez and go to Manchester City. The young Argentine star, labelled the 'new Messi' in some quarters, is wanted by Pep Guardiola's side. They must battle Man United for him, but per The Sun, Tevez could swing it.
The Velez Sarsfield playmaker, 19, idolized Tevez and is from the same neighbourhood. Pep would like him long term to replace David Silva. Tevez left Man United for Man City.
He has a contract until 2023 with his club and has scored five goals in 25 games. In Argentina they are taking for granted that he will want to go to Europe as soon as possible to continue his career. Man City are likely to offer 23 million euros for him.
