Shangai SIPG are keen on appointing the Spanish coach

According to British newspaper The Mirror, Rafa Benitez could have a way out of Newcastle United -- a 10 million pound offer from the Chinese Super League.

Reports claim that's how much Shanghai SIPG are prepared to pay the former Real Madrid coach annually (and with a three year deal) to take over as their boss.

Benitez's future at Newcastle is uncertain, which has led the Chines club to make the succulent offer, with his contract up in the summer.

It's not the first time China has called Rafa. However, he decided to remain at Newcastle when he was first offered the chance to coach in Asia when his side suffered relegation from the Premier League two years ago.

However, he's been frustrated with the backing he's had in England and his relationship with the owner is tense.

Newcastle have still not won a game in the Premier League this season. They have just three points from 10 games, leaving them bottom of the table with Huddersfield Town.
