Pep Guardila has been fined £20,000 for wearing the yellow ribbon. The FA confirmed that on Friday, warning the Man City coach over his future conduct.
Guardiola accepted the charges, confirming he will keep wearing the ribbon in the tunnel and in the press room. Where he will not wear it is by the pitch, where the FA has prohibited wearing political symbols.
In the Champions League he wore it because the UEFA rules do not prohibit these type of messages. If he keeps wearing it during PL matches, Pep could face a touchline ban.
