The 2020/21 Premier League season already has a start date
All 20 clubs have agreed on a start and end date for the upcoming season
Despite this season's Premier League yet to be finalised, the 20 clubs have already agreed on a start date of the 12th September. The 2020/21 season will end on the 23rd May.
"Premier League Shareholders today agreed to start the 2020/21 #PL season on 12 September. The final match round of the campaign will take place on 23 May. The Premier League will continue to consult with the FA and EFL regarding the scheduling of all domestic competitions."
This means that if one of England's two remaining representatives in Champions League, Chelsea or Manchester City, reach the final, they will only have three weeks rest before the new season begins.
