Raiola demands Man United double Pogba's wages after Alexis deal
Mino Raiola wants his client to be given a pay rise
Alexis Sanchez is set to double Pogba's salary at United
A lot of noise has been generated about one of the biggest moves of January: Alexis Sanchez's switch from Arsenal to Manchester United. From the Chilean's mega wages at Old Trafford to the upset among Paul Pogba's people at the disparity in the duo's salaries.
According to The Sun, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is demanding United increase his client's wages. He feels that the player who until recently was the most expensive in the history of the game should not be earning half of what Alexis earns, so he wants the France midfielder's wages increased.
The report says Pogba receives 200,000 pounds a week, which is around 11.5 million euros a year, while Sanchez is in line to pick up 400,000 pounds a week, close to 23 million euros annually.
It remains to be seen how the deal will be seen in the dressing room and the knock-on effects is could have. Everything suggests Juan Mata will be the first victim of the Alexis deal, with United in need to reduce the squad and to keep Pogba and the other heavyweights at the club happy.
