There have been movements behind the scenes at the highest level of international football. With the World Cup in Qatar over, the owners of Paris Saint-Germain are looking for new business opportunities and they are doing so in the most powerful league in the world from an economic, sporting and media point of view: the Premier League.

According to information published on Monday on 'Sky Sports', the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, met with the top chief at Tottenham, Daniel Levy, last week at a hotel in London. However, as the same media outlet acknowledged, the English club denies that any meeting occurred.

Remember that Al-Khelaïfi, also president of the European Club Association -- in which Levy is a member of the executive committee -- chairs Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), which in addition to owning PSG is a minority shareholder of Braga and could be convinced to invest or get involved at more clubs this year.

According to 'Sky', QSI will change its strategy in 2023 with the purpose of making strategic investments. At the moment, it is public that both Manchester United and Liverpool are looking for investors or buyers for their clubs.
