Mauricio Pochettino says there is no one better than the 21-year-old

Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino's reputation has continued to grow since he arrived in England, first with Southampton and now in England.

As a result, the former Espanyol boss has been linked with the jobs at Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

One of the things he's stood out for is his work with young players. At Southampton he helped several players go on to receive England caps, while with Spurs he's overseen the development of the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

And Pochettino, speaking before Saturday's FA Cup tie against Swansea, says there's no better player under 21 than Alli.

"When you compare him with all the young players in the world, not only in Europe, I think he is the best," the Argentine said.

"Tell me one better than him, a 21-year-old, all that he achieves. Tell me one. A current player. Maybe you can find similar or better than him?

"For me, he is the best because he is my player too. Maybe I am not objective but for me, he is amazing, all that he is doing."

In handing the accolade to Alli, Pochettino overlooks the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele, among others.
