The coach liked his team's display at Old Trafford (1-2)

He also spoke about his yellow ribbon and a possible suspension

Pep Guardiola says Man City did not win the Manchester derby at Old Trafford because of the referee.

City beat Man United 2-1 on Sunday and Guardiola spoke after the game.

"Last season it was the same – we won here and it was the referee," Guardiola told Sky Sports.

"Today as well. Yesterday he spoke about the referee.

"We are an honest team. We had 75 per cent ball possession, which means we wanted to play. We came here and did that."

YELLOW RIBBON

Pep wore a yellow ribbon to show support for the political prisoners due to the Catalonia situation in Spain.

"I wore it because in Spain people who defended a normal thing like voting are in prison," he said. "If the Premier League or UEFA wants to suspend me for wearing it, then fine. But people who all they have done is vote, especially the Jordis, are in prison still."
