Pep Guardiola bans Gabriel Jesus from drinking Coca Cola

The Brazilian forward is not allowed to enjoy the fizzy pop any more... and is this his final drink of it?

Pep Guardiola has met Manchester City's new signing Gabriel Jesus, who will be integrated into the squad come the new year.

"He told me I cannot drink Coca Cola," admitted the Brazilian striker after heading back to Sao Paulo following his lightning trip to Manchester where he met his future coach and team-mates.

Is the bottle in this picture his final drink of the fizzy pop?

"They were very friendly with me and he seemed to me to be a great person. Everyone speaks of his quality as a coach but I liked his character," said Gabriel Jesus, especially happy after discovering that Pep "likes Brazilian footballers".

The forward is now on holiday and he will not play for Palmeiras against Vitoria in the Brazilian league. The 19 year old has become a starter for his country, an impressive achievement. He agreed to sign for City in August with Barcelona unwilling to pay the 25 million euros Palmeiras wanted for his transfer.
