Negotiations broken between Man United and Eriksen
The Danish midfielder will not be heading to Old Trafford
Negotiations between Man United and Spurs have broken off, according to various English media sources.
The Red Devils would like to bring in the Danish midfielder but he is interested in moving to Real Madrid and not Old Trafford.
Eriksen has a year left on his Spurs deal and can leave for free next year if he stays and doesn't pen a new contract.
The English transfer window shuts on Thursday 4pm GMT but they can sell players until the end of the main European transfer markets.
However Tottenham will be reluctant to sell him if they cannot bring in a replacement. One of the consequences of Eriksen staying will be Paul Pogba remaining at United.
