Since the signing of Alexis his minutes have reduced and he's "disappointed"

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial wants to leave the English team, fed up of the lack of opportunities given to him by Jose Mourinho and the state of negotiations over a new deal.

The player's agent has said that "the time has come" for Martial to leave the club, saying that United have offered him a new deal but "we haven't been able to reach an agreement in eight months."

Martial, 22, scored 11 goals in 45 appearances this season, but many outings were from the bench and the signing of Alexis Sanchez in January saw his chances reduce in Mourinho's side.

Agent Philippe Lamboley sais that Martial, who joined United in September 2015 for 40 million euros, was "disappointed" with the situation after showing his love for the club and the fans in recent years.

“After thinking about all the factors and possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United," Lamboley told RMC. "There are lots of factors, and right now it’s too early to talk about them."

For Martial's agent, it's clear that "when Manchester United, the most powerful club in the world, do not find an agreement after eight months of negotiations then they do not really want to keep such an important player in their squad. That’s why this decision has come -- it’s a well-thought-out decision."
