Manchester City are more than happy with the job being done by Pep Guardiola and, according to The Sun, have offered the Catalan coach a succulent new contract.

The English tabloid report that City would be prepared to pay 114 million euros over the next five years, increasing his salary from 17.1 million annually to 22.8 million. Guardiola has two years left on his current deal and the Manchester club want to extend it by another three tears after winning back-to-back Premier League titles.

City have become the first team in men's football in England to win all four domestic titles in a season: the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Community Shield (the equivalent of the Super Cup).

"I will stay here for the two years I have left if they want me. I am happy in Manchester," Guardiola said after winning the FA Cup on Saturday when asked about the possibility of replacing Allegri at Juventus.

The only thing which could change Guardiola's mind is the uncertainty being created by a UEFA investigation into the club's finances, with a possible Champions League ban due to an FFP breach on the table.
