Gabriel Jesus postpones contract renovation with Man City
The Brazilian forward does not want to think about his deal until after the Russia World Cup
Gabriel Jesus has decided to postpone his contract renovation with Man City. The forward, who has been speaking with the club over a new deal, has told them that he does not want to negotiate until after the Russia World Cup.
According to The Times, Jesus has rejected the club's latest offer of 90,000 pounds a week. His people were asking for 100,000 per week.
However despite the new postponement, both sides are optimistic a deal will be reached. The 20 year old wants to concentrate now on the end of the season and the World Cup. He is Brazil's No 9.
Tite has picked him as the main forward during the qualifying stages. He responded with goals, the most recent coming in a 1-0 win over Germany on Tuesday.
