The Roma forward is set to move to Stamford Bridge to compete with the misfiring Morata

Edin Dzeko has his ticket booked to London. After a lot of negotiating, Chelsea and Roma have struck a deal for the forward to move to Stamford Bridge. According to Italian media, it is a double deal for the Bosnian forward and left-back Emerson Palmieri, for a total of 50 million euros plus extras.

Dzeko, for his part, is being offered 6 million euros - he currently earns 4.5m a year in Italy. The player, who will soon turn 32, will sign a deal until 2021 with the option of adding an extra year.

The forward is who Chelsea have chosen to stand in for Alvaro Morata, whom Antonio Conte is losing faith in. Dzeko's arrival will add competition. In Italy they see the deal as taking place in a question of hours.
