Claudio Bravo picks up a serious injury, could miss the season
Guardiola has lost his backup keeper and now must rely on Ederson staying fit as City challenge on all fronts
Bad news for Manchester City. Claudio Bravo has suffered a serious injury in training this Monday and it's entirely possible that the goalkeeper will miss the rest of the season. This leaves City without a senior reserve goalkeeper just as the campaign gets underway.
Bravo becomes the second long-term injury in the squad following the news Kevin De Bruyne will miss the next three months of football.

City consider their options
The injury to Bravo leaves Manchester City with just young Daniel Grimshaw to play backup to Ederson. Grimshaw was the goalkeeper in last season's UEFA Youth League and was promoted to being the team's third choice stopper. He's yet to make his debut for the senior side.
City are in a tough spot because the transfer window in England is already closed. One option is for them to recall Aro Muric from his loan at NAC Breda so the club has their full compliment of three goalkeepers to choose from. He's only 19 years old but is one of the brightest prospects to come out of City's academy in a while.
