Chelsea forward Joao Felix made his debut at Stamford Bridge after his loan move from Atletico on Thursday, but was also sent off for a violent tackle on Tete.
The Portuguese international started for the Blues against Fulham in what proved a 2-1 defeat, showing some good touches in the first half but ultimately the night ended in disaster for him and his club.
Atletico signed Felix for 126 million euros in 2019 but he failed to set the world on fire there and has been loaned until the end of the season.
Now he will be banned for three games most likely, meaning he misses a chunk of the time he was brought to London for.
