Brendan Rodgers signs on at Leicester until 2025
The coach was linked to the Arsenal job after Emery's axing
Brendan Rodgers has signed a new contract with Leicester City which will keep him on the books until 2025.
The former Liverpool manager had been linked with a move to Arsenal after Unai Emery was sacked.
"I've inherited an outstanding team of staff that are dedicated to progress and improvement and we have a group of players that are a joy to work with every day,” said Rodgers.
Leicester are second in the Premier League and the closest team to runaway leaders Liverpool, eight points clear at the top.
Leicester beat Watford 2-0 midweek and next visit Aston Villa.
