Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool won a thrilling game 4-3 at Anfield on Sunday

Pep Guardiola's side tasted their first defeat of the Premier League season

Barcelona are the only unbeaten side in Europe's top five leagues after Manchester City fell to Liverpool in a thrilling encounter on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola's men were unbeaten in the Premier League going into the clash at Anfield but lost 4-3.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gave the hosts the lead but City responded through Leroy Sane before the break.

However, City had no response to Liverpool's performance in the first 15 minutes of the second half.

Roberto Firmino restored the Reds' lead before Saido Mane hammered home after receiving a Salah pass.

Salah then joined in the fun, scoring from 40 yards after goalkeeper Ederson messed up a clearance.

City rallied late on, with goals from Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan, but were unable to score a late equaliser.

As a consequence, they lost their unbeaten league record, leaving Barça as the only side in Europe's top five leagues with an unbeaten record.
